Lesnar was last seen in action at UFC 121 in October 2010, where he lost to Cain Velasquez via first round TKO.
After recovering from a second bout of diverticulitis, Lesnar is scheduled to make his return to the UFC on December 30th when he will take on former Strikeforce heavyweight champion Overeem, with the winner earning a heavyweight title shot next year.
At time of writing, Overeem is the odds-on favourite with bookmakers to be victorious against the former WWE wrestler, despite rumours (and we must stress they were only rumours!) in Toronto on Saturday following UFC 140 suggesting he was considering pulling out of the bout.
Lesnar fights have always been big business for bookmakers and their UFC 141 bout will be no different.
It had been thought prior to odds being released that Lesnar could open up as a narrow favourite, but his lengthy spell away from the Octagon has clearly played a part in him being available at slightly longer odds than if he was coming off a fight.
